The Story Behind TGVZG

Tracht Gut Vet Zein Gut is Yiddish for “Think Good and It Will Be Good.” These words were given as a blessing to the TGVZG sisters’ great-great-grandfather, Reb Michoel der Alter, by the Tzemach Tzedek, the third Lubavitcher Rebbe. For generations it has been their family motto, and to this day the sisters sign messages to one another with just five letters: TGVZG.

When a dear friend facing cancer asked for one of their bracelets, it began a ripple. Friends started asking for bracelets for themselves and the people they loved, through illness, loss, and everyday challenges. What began as a family tradition became TGVZG.
